I went to a concert.

Last night. Jenny Lewis with the Watson Twins at Irving Plaza.

Whispertown2000 and Vietnam opened. Whispertown2000's lead singer's mic was too loud and her voice was kind of annoying. I don't know. I couldn't take them very seriously. Vietnam was good in all their hairiness. Jenny Lewis was freakin' awesome. I think I'm a little bit in love with her. And her band was great and if you get a chance to see her in concert, DO IT.

Oh and I'm totally going to buy a lap steel guitar. (Ok probably not but I really, really, really want one. Just like I want every other instrument imaginable).
